A day on the golf course is certainly something to look forward to, and it is so much more rewarding when you can play for an important cause. On Monday, August 8, 2011, the Rod Gilbert Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) Golf Classic is being held at the beautiful Pine Hollow Country Club, East Norwich to raise the much needed funds to find a cure for children and adults living with diabetes.

The golf classic, held annually, is in memory of Anthony John Vitale and Helaine Shari White. This year the committee is pleased to honor Aimee Skier, Vice President, AMSkier Insurance and Wayne A. Lang, Director of Property Management, Stawski Partners for their long time support of the DRI.

After a day of birdies and bogies, golfers will enjoy a delicious dinner, a fabulous array of desserts, and an incredibly lively live auction.
