[ April 26, 2012 to April 29, 2012. ] The up-and-coming Team Type 1 Development Team will take on the Joe Martin Stage Race in Fayetteville, Arkansas, one of the top cycling events in the nation. Over 700 athletes from 19 countries, and more than 45 states, attend the four-day race each year.

[ April 27, 2012; ] Team Type 1 will join kids at Camp Sweeney’s Spring Fling Family Weekend. More than 30,000 children have attended Camp Sweeney since it was opened by Dr. J. Shirley Sweeney, a Dallas endocrinologist, in 1950. The camp offers a unique 3-week residential diabetic life skills training program.
